I recently completed a new video piece for an upcoming exhibition which deals with gun violence in the U.S. The piece is titled “Fading Echo of Numb Decay” – it is a statement on the over saturation, numbness and confusion that is created through the constant barrage of gun violence related reporting in the country. The video slowly melds into a frenzy of noise and flickers that ultimately reveals nothing. This is the first iteration of the video, more will follow as additional video footage is gathered.
